Bergara b14 wilderness Terrain 5+1/3+1 long-range bolt-action rifle is accurate, feature rich and high-quality. This durable backcountry rifle has a Sniper Grey Cerakote free-floated Bergara #5.5 barrel. In front is a 5/8-24? threaded radial ported Omni muzzle brake Bergara says reduces felt recoil by up to 35 percent. The one-piece 4140 chromoly steel B-14 action has two-lugs, a sliding plate extractor and a fluted conical bolt handle. Accuracy meets or exceeds 1.0 MOA!

This gun spans seven calibers. This includes 6.5 Creedmore (1:8” twist ratio), 6.5 PRC (1:8”), .308 Winchester (1:10”), 7mm Rem Mag (1:9.5”), .300 Winchester Magnum (1:10”), .300 PRC (1:9”) and .28 Nosler (1:9.5”). These guns have barrel lengths ranging from 20” to 26”, overall lengths of 41” to 48” and weigh 9.3 (for the .308 Win) to 10.1 pounds for the last three. They use 5-round detachable box magazines for all but the 6.5 PRC, which uses a 3-round detachable box magazine. Thus capacity is 5+1 for all but the 3+1 capacity 6.5 PRC.

Bergara uses advanced manufacturing techniques including face turning, deep hole drilling, turning, honing and rifling. The final step is stress relieving which is high temperature heating to align steel molecules! The result is an extremely high-quality barrel with sub .0002” grooves that is more affordable than barrels often costing much more.

So back to the Wilderness Terrain. It features a short-action mini-chassis bedded into a molded stock and a Bergara Performance Trigger. The Terrain’s uni-piece camouflaged stock is hand-painted with webbing over the Sniper Gray camo.
